Celeste
This light collection is very intimate for me. Holding onto someone that left earlier than she should have. Inspired in her vision of life I experiment technics and play with matters all with the purpose of shining light withnin.
This collection is divided in three: Ad Astra, Présences and chimères. Each section hold something very special between her and me.

Celeste “Ad Astra” is inpired in her love for the dance between the moon and the sun. The influence they have on us and her reading of the zodiacs. Countless walks in the forest by night chasing the best spot to look at the full moon.
Those lights combine melted bronze representing the sun and cold stone (alabaster, granite, or marble) for the moon.
I also try to play with how the light can change the perception we have of those at night or day.

Celeste “Chimères” is inspired by dreams, nature and the willing to materialise something that cannot. It mix different technique and materials such as bronze, alabaster, glass, stone,marble and even wood. The melting of bronze is done in a way to let nature and chaos express itself. After the bronze melting, i have organic forms that I assemble to find shapes and harmony.
